We have since been practising and making birthday cards for friends and family. Lisa was great at explaining the steps to take and was happy to go over things again if we weren’t sure. Highly recommended, even for complete beginners like me.”

Danna – Virtual Art Journaling 2020 – “Exceptional class! I just finished taking this art journaling class with Lisa. She is a great teacher. Elizabeth – Sharrowvale Workshops 2015 – “What fun! It’s so great to have the chance to be inspired by Lisa!”

Anna & Erin  – Sharrowvale Workshops 2012-15 – “We love the way the workshops show us new techniques that look effective even if done by someone with very little art experience. Erin also said she likes being shown a technique and given a theme, but then being allowed to develop it in her own way. Our favourite techniques include the marbling with shaving foam, using sellotape to transfer pictures from newsprint and the bottle-top embellishments. We loved making the book/box with the concertina insert”.

Lucy – Sharrowvale Workshops 2012-14 – “Its been brilliant (I) have thoroughly enjoyed it and looked forward to each session. It’s been fab. I’m still doing it now! Much love and many thanks”.

May – Barnsley Experience Museum 2014 – “The children told me that your session was the best thing they had done with us the last academic year with the children’s panel, so high praise indeed!”.

Natasha – Grenoside Workshops 2012 – “I attended an art journaling course designed and taught by Lisa. During the time I went to the classes I was suffering from a bereavement and I found the sessions to be really therapeutic. As well as learning new art techniques, I was able to express how I was feeling right there on the blank page, which had a cathartic effect. I loved how Lisa was so passionate about art and this combined with her warm personality made the classes very enjoyable”
